Character and charm are clearly present in this piece! The table frame and legs were recycled from the old dining table (that became our firescreen on this same page) and painted buttermilk white. The tabletop is handmade from hardy poplar and stained and varnished with two different colors to add drama. A genuine horseshoe is driven into the center with farrier nails to act as a trivet for serving hot meals.
